lovely picture, hope you don't mind I use your artwork for an entry on my blog. And I'm very curious that why the flower spread to the girl's head but just to the boy's neck? I really don't understand that. Hope you can tell me, thanks a lot ^^.

Hello, I'm the editor of my school's yearbook. It's a big job and we're having trouble finding uncopy righted images. This image would look amazing on our "couples" page. It fits right in with our theme and colors for the page. If I could have your permission to use this image in our yearbook that would be the most amazing thing. I bought this print around a year ago and had it beautifully framed. All the ladies at the frame shop commented about how much they loved the print as well. In fact, when I went to pick up the finished job, they could not find it under my name (which is a very unique name that begins with a Z), but when I described it, they knew right away where it was.

The image is so profoundly perfect in illustrating the magic that is associated with a first kiss, and the couple in the print closely resemble the proportions of me and my husband of 14 years.

We love it. Thank you for your creation!

this was actually also my first real painting too. Unfortunately this painting has been stolen though. it was on display at my school and it is now missing. I've been sobbing for days and i don't quite know what to do. I think i may do a new one...but that's so hard to do bc...well you know how it is....it's just not the same..=/ im such a mess over this. buuuut i wanted to share this painting with the original artist.

Dear Ninja & Penguin:

I'd love to have the first kiss be the image of a social experiment soon to occur in NYC. The experiment will largely be conducted through a blog with some potential parties and/or fliers. I cannot pay upfront for the use of the image but I could promise 5% of advertising revenues should the movement/blog become popular to that point. I would be certain to use the image on website and flyers only. Permission to print on t-shirts would be great but is not necessary. What do you think?

This could drive your popularity and the popularity of the image. If the movement doesn’t catch momentum then you lose nothing.

I really love this print! I'm seventeen and I am doing an IB course on art. I was wondering if you allowed me to use this image as a starting point or inspiration for a similar art piece that I will do. The image would be quite similar, but the girl would be pregnant and the man would be giving the belly a kiss. Please answer as soon as possible, thank you so much!!
